Over the past four decades HTE has evolved into a very unique multi-division distributor, operating as a single company but composed of multiple sales and service business units.

Divisionalization provides HTE the structure and capacity to focus within each business unit on key industry segments and a limited number of complimentary product families and service capabilities. This insures that we have focused teams with a very high level of technical knowledge and product application expertise across all product families represented.

Today, HTE Technologies is composed of four sales divisions and six service groups. Our goal is to provide our 1,200+ customers across Missouri and Illinois with the most comprehensive array of quality products, outstanding technical assistance and the broadest level of support services and inventory available in the market.

PRODUCTIVITY SPECIALIST: The charter of each HTE sales division is to field a team of ‘ Productivity Specialists’ that are capable of assisting customers with the proper application of the products we represent, assist in cost saving initiatives, help find ways to improve productivity and facilitate safety improvements. Each division is composed of a sales manager, field sales team, product managers, application engineering team, value added services group for design/assembly/fabrication/repair and a large customer service team.

VALUE ADDED SOLUTIONS: Each of HTE’s service divisions have dedicated facility areas and staffing to provide a full compliment of custom services for all major product families across our four sales divisions. Separate service teams composed of experienced factory trained service technicians specialize in design, fabrication, assembly, kitting, repair, certification, installation and retrofit services. HTE’s team of twelve service-fabrication-assembly-installation technicians, four application engineers , and three certified fluid connector specialists are talented and experienced, averaging over 16 years of hands on experience and extensive factory training.

INTEGRATED SERVICES APPROACH: A real uniqueness of HTE is our technical proficiency and decades of experience across multiple product disciplines……allowing us to provide our customers with an experienced cross-discipline engineering approach to their problems and challenges. This integrated approach helps customers find creative solutions from options across many product disciplines.

HTE FACILITIES: HTE’s brand new 52,000 sq ft St. Louis headquarters facility was built with a broad menu of support capabilities in mind, all under one roof! Over 12,000 sq ft is dedicated to various value added service offerings, including:
  • 1,500 sq ft HTE PARKER STORE for walk in hose & fitting and fluid power needs with entrance on south side of building..... ‘while you wait’ custom hose assemblies
  • 1,200 sq ft HTE INDUSTRIAL PRODUCTIVITY TRAINING CENTER for customized training classes with entrance & parking on north side of building....see our extensive training schedule. Over 1100 trainees have attended HTE training classes and workshops over the past 18 months! Training is a major focus for HTE, including customized training at HTE or on site for our customers.
  • 800 sq ft Product Demonstration Room adjoining our training center for live product demonstrations and hands-on training
  • 600 sq ft R&D Lab with:
    - Complete Cognex machine vision test center
    - Direct part marking lab for sample parts processing with Laservall laser system and Columbia Marking Tools dot peen & scribing units. * Contract marking services are available.
    - Complete torque calibration lab for air & DC electric tools
  • 25,000 sq ft of product warehouse including three high density carousel systems. HTE 'stocks what we sell' and over $4.0m in local inventory insures that we have product that industry needs across sixteen major product families.

HTE SERVICE & FABRICATION FACILITY ( 9,500 sq ft) :
  • 2,000 sq ft power unit fabrication and assembly area
  • 3,000 sq ft repair bays and test center for compressors, dryers, blowers and blast cabinets
  • 1,000 sq ft repair cells for air tools, air & electric hoists and winches
  • 2,500 sq ft ‘skunk works/co-development’ area dedicated to special engineering projects with our customer partners
  • 1,000 sq ft large machine wash down and paint facilities
  • * Heavy electric power to run up to 500HP compressors and hydraulic power units
  • ** Air and electric hoist certification tower up to 5 tons
  • *** Air and DC electric tool repair center with dedicated torque calibration test area
  • **** Rental fleet of compressors, dryers and blast cabinets

TURNKEY SOLUTIONS: HTE’s service divisions leverage their own strengths by partnering closely with qualified mechanical , electrical and general contactors and riggers to provide complete turnkey jobs, including installation and startup.

INTEGRATOR PARTNERSHIPS: HTE’s focus on providing solutions to our customers includes our partnership network with integrators. Each division has relationships with proven local and regional integration companies that are capable of stepping in to assist our customers when appropriate.
